We have been away Prom Dog shows

We have been away for a little while. Ive been working , my kids are getting ready to graduate on the 25th they also had their prom and of course a couple of dog shows.

They had a great prom night glad they got to do that I wasnt sure since I home schooled them up until this year. So I was very happy they got to have the experience. Here are a couple of pictures from that night.

Then we have been going to a couple of shows with the tri boys our new collie Justin and my Smooth collie Slick. Slick Wyndrush Black Ice has been doing very well he got his first points all from the puppy classes He was winners dog and BOS to BOV at our Collie Specialty. And he won Best Puppy in Match at our collie only match. Then off to the summer shows where he got a reserve with some very pretty boys there. Then the next weekend he won winners dog from the puppy class again with some very pretty boys entered. Justin got reserve one of the days but he needs a little more work but IM sure his future will be good. Here are some pictures of Justin Overlands Wishes Come True. and some pictures from the shows

Snow Day 2009

We haven't had much snow this year at least not in the Denver area mostly in the mountains good for skiing. So it is very needed here as it has been so dry. So we are very happy to see the snow. But it was a little scary drive home. There was not really any snow when I left at 7:00 am but just a couple hours later here are pictures in front of work there is a Chiles restaurant right across the street that you can not see crazy

So our boss gave us the go ahead after the morning clients were all seen and all our grooming clients were groomed we could head home yes people showed up in a blizzard to get their dogs groomed and Client showed up to get vaccines no emergencies came in It was all basic stuff LOL. It was a slow drive I have to say I love my Jeep. No sliding at all. But a lot of sliding cars there was a 30 car pile up on I 25 Colorado Wyoming boarder. So only had to work a half day so I had time to go play with the dogs in the snow and get a couple of pictures. Here are some pictures a couple of days ago of the dogs playing in the same area before the snow as the snow pictures Crazy Colorado you know you have to be prepared for anything. Its back up to 60 on Sun.

Our non Show pets

Our pets that we dont show I thought I just show some pictures as we love them very much too Here are the poodles Faith and Candace I just love to dress them up I just love grooming I guess.

Here are my Kittys DMX seal point mix and Kimora the gray one I got DMX when I did volunteer work for a shelter I microchiped all the baby kittens at the Kitten adoption day and he was my gift for helping out we have had him 8 years hes part dog IM sure. He loves being in the whelping box with the puppies and loves the puppies but once they are adult he doest have to much to do with them but he is the best cat we ever owned my daughters love, then Kimora just kinda happen she is the naughtiest cat ever. Every time I let dogs in out she waits at the top of the stairs pounces each of the dogs runs like crazy (well we all know what collies and shelties do when something runs from them Chase and try to herd them) It is a hour chase everyday you would think all the dogs would know its coming but they always looked surprised. So know I have to go out and try to catch her before we have the chase but she hides well Some times I think its a clear but NO. Here is her other thing she believes my Jeep belongs to her she sprays(yes she is spayed) it every time I come home and I swear gives me the Kitty finger when I use it. She see me coming home and runs strait at the jeep I have to call my daughter to chase her away from it. so I can get in the driveway so I don't run her over and forget it if she managed to jump in side its at least and hour to get her back out. Yes shes crazy

See just evil everyone here is spayed and neutered we dont need more crazy cats in the world LOL

Do Shelties Laugh?

I Think they do!!

I did some updated pictures of Kobe and Slick today Ive been meaning to for awhile but they both seem to get so dirty I bath them two minutes later they find dirt. But here are the updated pictures I think they are both growing up nicely. Kobe is my Ionas Its OK to "STARE" and my Smooth Collie Wyndrush Black Ice Slick for short IM usally not a smooth collie person but I really love this dogs face he has a great body but a little akward at this stage he need a little more confidence. So he doent show himself off as much when IM looking but when he thinks IM not WOW, So we will see

We have been tagged by Winsor Shelties

We have also been tagged. This is photo is from the 5th folder 5th photo This is my daughter and Windy on the way to the Collie National in Oklahoma. Windy belong to a my good friend Shelley of Wyndrush Collies Mariah and Windy just loved each other as you can see and Mariah showed her in the veterans class that year for Shelley they both look so good out there they got 2nd that year. When we got a little closer to Oklahoma we had rain that I had never saw before is was like waves of water on the windshield and you couldn't stop and go to the side of the road because no one could see if you were in front of them it was so crazy and to top it off when you got out of the rain you could see tornado's in the distance I was so scared. I had to stay calm because I didn't want to scare my daughter more than she already was. What we do to make it to the national. Shelley sent me this picture when she lost Windy we were all so sad and I always loved it they both look so cute. It is one of my Favourites.
we will tag
Akadia
Obay shelties
Lacewood but I think they have already been tagged

Iona Its OK to "Stare" Kobe

This is Kobe our Sheltie hopeful we got from Tammy Blakely of Iona Shelties. He is such a sweet boy He is always full of kisses he is just a love he always minds and is such a sweetheart. He is out of Ch. Trevanne's Pelletier x Iona Mona Lisa He is very hard to get pictures of as he wont look at my camera little turkey. So far staying in size he has the same birthday as my collie hopeful down below it is kinda cool seeing the difference is size they both still love each other here is a picture of them playing together when they where younger

They always seem to have fun, I love watching the dogs play. Thats why I think I love taking them to the dog park as they always go full out running like crazy.

Here are a couple more pictures of we call him the baby. Little Kobe

Fantasias Why so Serious "Joker"

This is our Joker he is our newest collie hopeful bred here at Fantasias Collies he is 6 months as of the 26th of December. I fell in love with him the minute he was born. We really wanted a tri we had two tri males and one sable male. He was so pretty he was the biggest boy in the litter. I just couldnt keep my eyes off of him. He went through some uglys though at 4 months he looked part German Shepard. He is such a love he will cuddle and loves when you talk to him he gets so excited. He will be my Daughters new show dog as I promised her the next litter would be hers to show I think their going to have a lot of fun.
